In 1997 Parker Bromley established its own in-house Electrical Department in response to the growing need of the marketplace. Over the last four years the department has been involved in numerous major projects and is now estimating on projects of up to £5 million, ranging from domestic rewires through to commercial installations and new build programmes.

Our Company's simple philosophy allows us to build steadily on an established client base, which includes a number of Local Authorities, building contractors and numerous engineering consultancies. We are registered members of the major electrical trade organisations, which have enabled us to keep abreast of the ever-changing technology and regulations. All Parker Bromley staff undergo regular training to remain up to date with changes in current regulations and management techniques - our organisation and operations are independently certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

Within the industry we have already made the Parker Bromley name synonymous with quality, cost-effectiveness and time sensitivity. Our team meetings allow us to understand the needs of the project and the client. Once suitably briefed, our experienced professionals from the Design & Build Studio, aided by computer technology embracing Electrical Design, Computer Aided Estimating and CAD drawing software, can design and specify the most appropriate and cost-effective solution and finally provide full sets of electrical schematic drawings.

It has becoming more commonplace for contracts to be awarded to one contractor for both the mechanical and electrical parts of the projects. Due to the fact that Parker Bromley has a large well-established Mechanical Department, we have been able to offer this kind of service at cost-effective package from the very start. This is of particular importance to both client and main contractor as it reduces the hassle of co-ordination and liaison between the two different disciplines.

At present we employ a professional team of electrical estimators, electrical project engineers and numerous site supervisors. A workforce of twenty JIB electricians ranging from technician to electrician supports these. In addition, for the last three years we have also been running a successful programme of electrical apprenticeships in order to ensure a continual flow of talent and to guarantee a bright future for Parker Bromley and its clients.
